The World Capoeira Federation (WCF) is pleased to announce a formal agreement with the Peruvian National Sports Federation of Capoeira (FEDEPECA) for the organization of the South American Capoeira Championship.

Scheduled for December 12-14, 2025, in Lima, Peru, the event will be held under the official license of the WCF.

As the continent's premier Capoeira competition, this championship will see athletes from across South America compete for top honors. The WCF will grant its full support to FEDEPECA, including the official event license, active promotion on WCF digital platforms, and, crucially, the integration of all competition results into the global WCF World Ranking system.

This partnership marks a significant step in unifying Capoeira competitions under a global standard and elevating the sport's profile across the Americas.
