On August 29, 2026, Samsun is preparing to host one of the most prestigious gatherings in the world of Capoeira. Organized in collaboration with the World Capoeira Federation (WCF), Mundo Capoeira Turkey, and the Turkish Capoeira Association, the International Open Capoeira Tournament – Samsun Open 2026 is set to make history as one of the first international WCF-ranked events held in Türkiye.

Samsun Open 2026 is much more than a sporting event; it is an international platform for culture and friendship where athletes from Europe, America, Asia, and all around the world will unite around the roda.

Key Event Details

Competitions will be held in Children, Youth, Women, and Adult categories. Athletes will compete not only for medals and trophies but also to earn official points for the WCF World Ranking system. The tournament is a unique festival where sports, art, and cultural diversity meet, highlighting friendship and intercultural interaction.
