The World Capoeira Federation (WCF) is proud to announce that the Peruvian National Capoeira Sports Federation has officially been granted full membership as of August 1, 2025.  

This milestone marks a significant step in strengthening the global Capoeira community, granting Peru’s federation full access to WCF programs, competitions, and collaborative initiatives. The WCF celebrates this expansion and looks forward to Peru’s active participation in shaping the future of Capoeira worldwide.

We proudly welcome Peru into the WCF family. This step reflects our dual mission: to celebrate Capoeira’s cultural roots and to elevate it as a globally respected sport. Together, we are working toward our ultimate goal—seeing Capoeira in the Olympic Games, where its athleticism can shine on the world’s biggest stage.
