The World Capoeira Federation (WCF) is pleased to announce that Association Capoeira Derneği has officially become an Associate Member of the Federation as of 12 June 2025.

This marks the second Associate Member from Türkiye, following the Capoeira Association of Axé Capoeira Türkiye, and highlights the growing capoeira community in the region.

On behalf of the World Capoeira Federation, we warmly congratulate Association Capoeira Derneği on this important milestone. We look forward to a productive partnership and continued collaboration in promoting capoeira on a global scale.

In line with this new affiliation, an international capoeira competition is expected to be held soon in Samsun, Türkiye, in cooperation with Association Capoeira Derneği. More details will be announced in the coming weeks.
