Who can register?

The online registration is open to athletes, coaches, referees, team leaders and other team support staff with WCF license (valid license placed in International Capoeira Passport). 


Where can I get my Capoeira passport and license?

Click here to start online registration for WCF ID number and license. After online registration and payment, you will receive your International Capoeira Passport no later than 30 working days to your home address.


How to register?

The quick registration is made through your personal account on the WCF web page. Select LICENSED EVENTS in your account, then select a competition you want to participate, and provide the required information. The average time for online registration is about 3 minutes.
National federations shall use login and password to log into their Full membership account.


How shall I pay for participation?

The participation fee will be paid during the accreditation process that will take place 1 day before the competition. In the accreditation process required documents and health condition of athletes are checked, the weight of athletes are measured, payments for hotel, participation, etc. are accepted. After successful completion of the accreditation a person will receive an accreditation badge that will allow him/her to participate in the events.


What does my participation fee include?

Your registration includes:
- Access to the competition area (limited by zones on the badge)
- T-shirt (only for participant athletes)
- Guiding support from volunteers


What documents are required for the accreditation process? 

Required documents for accreditation process are followings:
- Your ID card (citizenship passport)
- Capoeira Passport from WCF
- Permanent resident card (in case of representation of another country)


What expenses are covered by the participants and which ones are paid by the organizing committee?

Participants are responsible for their:
- (airfare) ticket;
- visa fee;
- accommodation. During online registration on the website ( participants will find information about hotels. Organizing Committee will provide the facility of arranging participants to 2 accommodations.
- Participation fee €60 Euro (only for competitors).

Organizing Committee is responsible for:
- airport shuttle (airport-hotel-airport);
- urban transport (hotel-venue-hotel) only on competition days;⁠⁠
- Lunch and dinner, only on competition days;
- Event t-shirt.


How will I obtain my visa to Azerbaijan?


There are now 2 ways to obtain a visa to Azerbaijan for the 2018 World Championship on Sport Capoeira.


The first way is to apply for e-visa (sample of e-visa). This is the most convenient way to secure an entry visa to Azerbaijan. The advantages of evisa is lower cost, online process only (no need to visit embassies or send your passport to them), you get a visa to your email as PDF attachment that you just need to print out. You can enter Azerbaijan at any border entry point with this type of visa. One can apply for evisa for up to 1 year before the planned entry date to Azerbaijan.

The cost of evisa is only 20$ for all nationals and it takes up to 3 days to be ready. The visa will have 30 days validity starting from the day that you put as your arrival day to Azerbaijan in request form. 

To apply directly one should proceed to and start the first step of online application where you need to fill a visa request form and upload a scan of the passport. After the first step, you will receive a confirmation email and link. Following the link you will complete the visa application and payment for e-visa . After 3 business days you will receive the second email with a ready electronic visa as PDF. You have to print it out and take with you to the border of Azerbaijan.

You might enter Azerbaijan later than the visa start day but within the 30 days validity period. Electronic visas will be issued only to nationals of 81 countries listed here.


The second way is to apply for visa in a traditional way through the embassy/consulate of the Azerbaijan Republic abroad. To obtain a visa in this way you will need an official Letter of Invitation from the local National Capoeira Federation of Azerbaijan.

Limited visa on arrival:

Turkey can obtain a 30 days visa on arrival only at Heydar Aliyev International Airport.

The United States can obtain a 30 days visa on arrival only if arriving on a direct flight of Azerbaijan Airlines from New York.
